Our role is to act as an intermediary between you (“Client”) and various third-party travel suppliers (“Suppliers”), including cruise lines, hotels, airlines, tour operators, transportation providers, and insurance companies. We act as your booking agent in arranging and facilitating travel services. Suppliers are responsible for providing the actual travel services.

2. Agency Relationship and Liability Disclaimer

Serene Seas Travel acts solely as an intermediary and sales agent for the Suppliers named in your itinerary. We do not own, manage, operate, or control any cruise line, hotel, airline, tour operator, attraction, or transportation provider, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

Supplier Terms

All bookings are subject to the specific terms, conditions, and contracts of the respective Suppliers. It is the Client’s responsibility to review Supplier terms regarding cancellations, refunds, itinerary changes, health and safety protocols, and other restrictions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serene Seas Travel shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, death, delay, inconvenience, additional expense, or irregularity arising from the acts or omissions of any Supplier or third party. This includes, without limitation, Supplier insolvency or bankruptcy, mechanical breakdowns, itinerary changes, labor disputes, weather conditions, governmental actions, health-related events, or force majeure events.

3. Bespoke Planning and Consultations

Our travel designs are tailored to each Client’s unique preferences. Clients acknowledge that:

* Final itineraries, pricing, and availability are subject to change until confirmed by the applicable Supplier(s).
* Professional planning fees, if applicable, are separate from Supplier charges and are non-refundable once incurred, unless otherwise stated in writing.
* Planning fees compensate us for professional time, research, itinerary design, consultations, supplier coordination, and administrative services.

4. Accessible Travel

Serene Seas Travel is committed to helping make travel accessible to all travelers. While we strive to recommend cruises and travel experiences that meet each Client’s accessibility needs, we rely on information provided by Suppliers and cannot guarantee that all third-party services, excursions, or infrastructure will be fully accessible.

5. Client Responsibilities: Documentation and Health

Travel Documents

Clients are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation. Passports should generally be valid for at least six months beyond the date of return.

Health and Vaccinations

Clients are responsible for meeting all health entry requirements and obtaining any required vaccinations for their destinations.

Accuracy of Information

Clients must ensure that all names and personal details provided for bookings match legal travel documents exactly. Any fees resulting from corrections will be the Client’s responsibility.

6. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to these Terms and the applicable Supplier terms and conditions, including payment schedules, cancellation penalties, and refund policies. Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation and/or penalties imposed by the Supplier.

Planning Fees

Professional planning fees, if applicable, are earned when charged and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Cancellations

Cancellation and change policies are determined by Suppliers and may be strict. Serene Seas Travel is not responsible for Supplier-imposed penalties. Administrative fees may apply for processing cancellations or significant itinerary changes.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and timing are determined solely by the Supplier. Serene Seas Travel does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for delays in Supplier processing.

Supplier-Initiated Changes or Cancellations

If a Supplier cancels, suspends, or materially changes a trip, remedies are governed by the Supplier’s terms. Serene Seas Travel is not liable for Supplier-initiated cancellations or related costs except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Travel Insurance

Serene Seas Travel strongly recommends that all Clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, and Supplier insolvency where available.

Clients who decline travel insurance acknowledge that they assume all financial risks associated with travel.
